Here’s some more music I’ve been working on!

Click me! (Yes I’ve been listening to a lot of Trivium lately)

Noises

It’s been a while since I put any sort of music up on here. It had also been a while since I’d played around with Reason at all. Two birds were killed with one stone folks! I made up a little thing that sounds like a summer night thunder storm with plenty of rain and wind. Hope you like it:

From that Electronic Music class…. a video.

The final project for my class was to make a soundtrack to go along with a short video clip. We didn’t have to make the video ourselves, but I decided that it would be fun to do so. Here’s the movie that I made: …of the Carrot (in a nicely deucenet formatted page)
or …of the Carrot (in all of its google video splendor)

By the way, I got an A on this project.

More Music from that Electronic Music class I’m taking

The assignment this time was to take 15 seconds of audio and turn it into a 90 second piece. What I did was go around campus sampling different doors and also an organ. I took those samples and a few other sounds and made this piece, entitled Dorgans (Doors and organs).

Electronic Music (Again)

Well, here’s my second project from that electronic music class I’m taking. This time my teacher allowed us to actually use a beat in the music! Yay! If anyone out there is a Mistaken Identity (my old band) fan, then you might just recognize some parts of this one.

Electronic Music

This semester I’m taking a computer music class, and our first project was to create some non-traditional music. (no identifiable pulse or melody). Here’s what I did:

Some More Music

Well I was a bit bored today, so I figured I’d record something I’ve been working on over the last few days. It’s still kinda rough, but like I said, I was bored.

Let me know what you think.

Song: Quotidian

I’ve been messing around with the USB interface on my Line 6 POD XT Live for recording guitar, and it turns out that it gives me a very nice signal with no noise. Using this new method of recording, I made this song, which I have named “Quotidian” for no reason other than it’s fun to say. Enjoy.

Check out the sweet stereo seperation on the harmonized lead at the beginning.

Gigantic Robot

Well here it is: The first take on the theme song for www.giganticrobot.com

My friend Ross and I wrote and recorded it.
