Samsung, where do I begin? Last week my Samsung monitor got fried when the power went out, even though everything else on my power strip was fine. It was under warranty, so I called up tech support and within five minutes they agreed to send me a new monitor with 2nd day air shipping. I was very pleased. However, when the monitor did not arrive within a few days, I called back tech support to see what was going on. I was told I would have it by Monday, which was yesterday. I still don’t have it today, so I called them back yet again, and I was told that their warehouse hadn’t even shipped it yet and I can expect it to arrive in about 7 business days. I’m no longer as pleased with Samsung tech support as I was after the first call.
On a somewhat different note, the Samsung hold music is hilarious. One minute they’re playing some awful hip-hop thing, then suddenly they switch to some smooth jazz. Next thing I know I’m listening to some trance, followed by some hard rock. I was amused.
